After almost 3 years living with Covid-19, we have now extended the Covid Invasion game with new virus variants, just like we know it from real life. This makes the game more difficult and thrilling during playing.
Here are the new virus variants implemented:
All of the new three virus variants behave slightly different; depending on the difficulty level, some of the new variants will appear sooner or later in the game. Luckily, the rest of the game stays the same like in the first version. So if you already played and succeeded in the first version of the game, you may master the Special Edition quickly.

System requirements
Windows 10/11, 64-Bit Version (if you would like to have a build for a 32-Bit machine, let us know in the comment section below).
IMPORTANT NOTE
The covid_invasion_2.exe is not digitally signed, therefore Google Chrome and Microsoft SmartScreen may block it if you try to start it. In that case, do the following:
In Chrome:
If Chrome blocks the downloaded file, click on the arrow to the right of the file and select ‘Keep’. Then, click the file.
In the SmartScreen dialog window:
Click on ‘More info’ and then on the ‘Run anyway’ button. Don’t worry, the executable is safe!
